Just took my last final exam today, and assuming I didn't fail it I am now OFFICIALLY DONE WITH CLASSES FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. WHAT. I don't think it's sunken in yet, that I could possibly ever actually really seriously be done with school forever, omgomgomgomg BUT THIS IS SO EXCITING. Now I just have to find a job, and catch up on some things in my lab, but. whatever. NO MORE CLASSES and NO MORE EXAMS. *MOTHERFUCKING TWIRLS*

And guess what the first email I saw after I got out of the exam room was? SPN season 4.5 UK DVD deleted scenes scoop. WITH A PICTURE OF DEAN'S BUTT IN TINY BLACK SHORTS.

There are five. 'The Monster At The End Of This Book' features two extended scenes showing Sam and Dean in the comic shop and Chuck talking to Zachariah at the end. Both not very interesting. However, the others are great...

'On The Head Of A Pin' - the scene where Dean is standing outside the room containing Alastair is extended. He tells Uriel to bring him jelly donuts. He wonders if the fact Uriel has been promoted above Castiel is "twisting his loincloth". But mainly, there are endless shots of Castiel looking mind-numbingly uncomfortable under both Dean's gaze and Uriel's, and it's gorgeous!

Next is 'The Rapture' - Dean wakes up from his dream at the start and climbs out of bed with lots of groans and grunts. He wakes up Sam and tells him they have to go - "Angel businees." And Sam has a headache (from blood withdrawal, obviously). What's notable about this scene is DEAN IS WEARING WEE BLACK JOCKEY SHORTS. Pic attached. Sadly a little blurry, but he's moving. It was taken off my TV, as you can probably tell, cos I can't grab DVDs. Wait till you see his buttcheeks move. ;p

And finally, and best of all, 'Lucifer Rising' - as Chuck and Castiel stand in front of the archangel's light, they have this little exchange:

Chuck: "Tell me, what's your motivation here? What made you grow a pair?"
Castiel: [Looks puzzled] "Of what?"
Chuck: "No, I mean, why are you helping Dean?"
Castiel: "It occurred to me. Something he always says."
Chuck: "What's that?"
Castiel: "What the hell."

(...I would like to point out that this scene would be lovely, except due to the chaos of the archangel they're having to shout their lines, so Misha's delivery of "What the hell" doesn't quite work. Well, in my opinion, anyway. But it's not entirely his fault. And it was a cut scene, so it could've been fixed later in ADR anyway if they had decided to air it.)

I'm annoyed I couldn't snap a shot of Chuck and Cas talking, but frankly it didn't look anything different than what we'd seen, and the camera was moving too much to get a good image. Castiel is VERY scowly though, probably cos they're shining a big light in Misha's eyes.

A PAIR. OF WHAT? OH, CAS, OH CAS, CAN YOU JUST IMAGINE HIS SCOWLY BUT CONFUSED BROW-FURROW AND HEAD TILT? Gah, I was just saying to someone the other day how much I fucking missed the sheer, breath-holding, unadulterated, epic fucking glee of watching new Castiel scenes for the very first time and now there are these deleted scenes which sadly aren't up on YouTube yet and I JUST WANT TO WRAP HIM UP IN A HUGE BLANKET WITH DEAN NOW PLEASE. ipsilonx: Another WIP, lol, but again, I read it for the premise. Claire!Castiel, holy shit, right? Why hasn't this been done before? I had no idea what to expect going in, but it's quite beautifully written and deliciously angsty.

...I had more, and I ought to update the massive rec post soon, but basically I am too stupidly gleeful about the deleted scenes and BEING DONE WITH SCHOOL to have too many higher thought processes at the moment. That, and I pulled an all nighter so I am extra delirious.

IN CONCLUSION: I AM IN LAB RIGHT NOW INSTEAD OF ENJOYING MY NEW-FOUND FREEDOM AND WISH TO BE ENTERTAINED. POSSIBLY IN CAPSLOCK. ANYONE? ♥
