10 Things I've done lately.

1. Made my Dreamwidth green! (Yes, all my journals must be green, don't ask.) And I've finally figured out what I'm going to do with it, it shall be a personal journal, I've never had one of those before! How exciting, I think, I just need a Friends Only banner now.

2. Twitter. Not that I pay attention to it except for when Misha updates, but when he does I end up spending an hour there. *sigh* Oh, and I called him a dork today, oops. :">

3. deancas_updates! That Dean/Castiel and Misha newsletter I've been meaning to start since On the Head of a Pin. It's finally up, yay! \o/

4. deancastiel's new layout, which I actually only redid on a whim because there were two gorgeous ones I wanted to use for deancas_updates and I couldn't pick. It's lucky I run two Dean/Castiel comms now, huh? :)) But for a layout I neither made (credit there goes to nabichansaotome ♥) nor spent that much time tweaking, I am unreasonably proud of it. Pretty!

5. Marked some pages in that BSG book to scan sometime this week. (Yes, I know, shock, I haven't forgotten!)

6. Went through self-checkout at the grocery store and made the machine think I was trying to buy 310 oranges. It went something like so:

Me: *tries to key in the code for oranges*
Machine: *erases it*
Me: ...*tries again*
Machine: You now owe me $145 for 310 oranges!
Me: D:
Friend: *laughs and laughs and laughs*
Employee: *laughs and laughs and laughs*
Me: D:
Employee: *changes 310 to 7*
Friend: *laughs and laughs and laughs*

I have many talents, clearly.

7. Bought an angel wing necklace! I am so not one for jewelry, but it was pretty, and come on, angel wing. ♥

9. chaneystarr's character meme that she forced me to do at swordpoint. She gave me Draco Malfoy.

Slytherin Green and silver! And gray, because his eyes are gray. Shiny blond hair.

Pretty much all of The Calling's songs, lol, for reasons which will be obvious to most of the people I've RPed with. ♥ In particular "Wherever You Will Go" and "Stigmatized".

Look, I don't even know what my blood type is, wtf, which one is universal recipient? That one. \o/

What character do you like to put with this character?
Harryyyyyyyy! ♥ Good god, I miss my OTP. D: I miss my H/D friends. D: Do any of you still read this LJ or do you just scroll past whenever you see an entry from me? (I totally don't blame you, I would too.) Anyway, if anyone sees this and wants to rec me one personal favorite H/D fic from the past year, that would be awesome.

What would you want to say to this character?
Next time you have a match with Potter, try charming his broom to start vibrating just so whenever he nears the snitch. Bet you it'll distract him. Bet you it'll also leave him in a mood.

10. Listened to "Storm" by Lifehouse like 50 times. I can't stop thinking about Castiel. D: I know you didn't bring me out here to drown, so why am I ten feet under and upside down? ETA: jfc apparently this song has been downloaded about 1250 times and my bandwidth for the month has been exceeded, so sorry if it doesn't work anymore? I never thought it would be an issue, but 1250 times, really? /:)

ETA: NEVERMIND THAT SONG, GO LISTEN TO THESE SONGS INSTEAD. Someday I will be able to articulate how much I love this girl, but that day is not today.

I've totes contemplated on getting myself a twitter if only for Misha updates, because I am such a stalker Misha Minion. XD

I think the new layouts for both comms are utterly gorgeous (of course being Dean/Cas why wouldn't they be?)

I don't like those self checkouts at the grocery stores. I don't know why, but I like the interaction with the checkout people much better. The stores I go to everyone is smiling and friendly and ask about your day, and you ask theirs, and you strike up interesting conversations. With a machine....you just hear *beepbeepboop* and a pre-recorded voice. And I want to avoid incidents like the one you went through today. Heh.

You and I are very much alike since I also have an angel wing necklace (with bonus angel wing earrings to match!) I find myself getting drawn to such things more now. I even have an angel shirt I bought some months ago, because not only was it cute (and on sale) but...well, angels. CASTIEL WHAT HAS YOU DONE TO ME?! XDD

Speaking of, LOVE YOUR NEW ICON! Nerdy!Castiel in glasses = made of win. ♥
