You guys really are the best, you know that, right? Thank you thank you thank you for caring so much that I didn't get to see Misha, wow. That blew me away completely, and I didn't get to reply to every comment (so behind on comments in general, gah), but know that I truly love and appreciate all of you. ♥!

The con turned out to be pretty fun, actually.. got to hang out with rebekahfair, arabella_hope, ze_pink_lady, and some of their respective friends/roommates, plus I stayed up till 7 am Saturday night drinking and chatting with various people (and napping on clex_monkie89's boob, hahahahaaa), so it was a good time! Jim Beaver was hilarious as always, Gabe keeps getting more adorable every time I see him, and even Julie was awesome. It's no secret that I dislike Anna, but Julie? I ♥ Julie. She's incredibly sweet and gorgeous and adorable and just. wonderful.

Even if I was still upset about the lack of Misha, though, you know what would've made it better? Try A Little Tenderness by strangeandcharm. Not only is it the perfect coda to 4.16 -- hot and real and utterly satisfying in every way -- she even dedicated it to me, which is. Omg. :">! Speaking of how much I love you guys...!

Something else that made me happy: I saw this clip of Misha talking about his moving Finding Home last week and had to buy it. Well, finally got around to watching it yesterday, and nnnnngh, Misha. I must share some gorgeous with you.

Not sure how I feel about his hair, but who cares about hair when that man's got those eyes?


The clip talks about Misha's "inner sadness" and "deep hurt" and you can just see that here. I do so have a thing for whump.


Something about profile shots in particular look so much like Castiel sometimes. ♥

This kissing scene.. oh man, if any of you have watched it or will watch it -- he does this little eye flicker thing before completely losing himself to the kiss, lips parting helplessly and everything -- that's exactly how I imagine Castiel's first kiss with Dean would be like, if it takes place in a quiet, maybe tender sort of setting.


Neck and jaw, nnnnnngh.


I love all the expressions he makes, even the ones that look sort of silly as stills. Throughout this whole movie it really struck me how familiar a lot of his mannerisms and expressions and angles are. Same with his voice, not all deep like Castiel's but just his normal interview voice. The voice I got to hear at NJ con and the one I've come to love. oh god this man makes me so mushy it's embarrassing.


I JUST WANT TO HUG HIM. :(


He's not terribly smiley in this movie, but it happens occasionally and I love that lopsided thing he does with his lips. Also endearingly familiar.

Jokes about handling wood aside, I really really really love Misha hard at work with his hands, building houses and furniture and all that, and getting a glimpse of that in a movie is pretty damn gratifying.

XD 'Cause I uploaded the movie, actually, in case anyone's dying to see it now. Which you SHOULD be. it's not a terribly great movie but MISHA is in it quite a bit, and that makes it a fantastic movie. Seven parts, 700 mb, rar. Password is burtonfeelgood.

BSG... can't say it made me happy, but. I wanted to talk about it, I've been wanting to talk about it since Friday night, but... I've got nothin'. I just don't know yet. I suspect it will be one of those endings that make more and more sense as time goes on, as I rewatch the series and mull over all the layers. I will talk about my show when I'm ready to talk about my show. :(

For now, off to catch up with the flist, update galacticanews, and see if I can make a dent in comments that need replying to! :">

I just, I can't fathom how much I love BSG so frakking much.

I have heard amazing things about Julie, she seems so sweet.:)And I've grown to appreciate Anna so I hope they do good things with her, even though I am not completely sold on her. I know a big part of it is that I like the actress a lot and I think she works better as she is now than some random love interest.

And I have to keep away from all the BSG reviews because I just finished the second season and am all flailing and can't even think about a finale at this point cuz I'll cry. Yes, I wish the SPN writers would stop writing women as manipulative, but sadly that part was in keeping with what I saw of the character in 4x10. Hopefully it won't be for anything bad or skeevy, or maybe someone calls her on it and she stops.
