Tracy. It's five in the morning and I totally just woke up from a dream about you. It was American Idol and we were both in the top 36 and living in this hotel and we were neighbors and it was the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep. There was a knock on the door and I opened it and it was you, but I didn't know you. You were kind of bitchy and I was desperately lonely, I think you wanted to check what was in my fridge or complain about hearing me pacing around or something, I don't know. But I invited you in and babbled so charmingly that you decided you loved me and that I was 'yours', whatever that meant. I found out the next day that it meant systematically destroying the self-confidence of all the other girls who kept discussing how stupid it was that I made it onto American Idol when I had no chance of success because I was stupid and ugly. I, of course, charmed a few of those girls into liking me, but you were less diplomatic :|. Then this other girl stole my laptop and made it into a leporsy mask (??) so she could go home, and you were angry. Also, we found cheese in my fridge, and decided to go camping in Mexico.

Castiel is the only one who can give Dean something of his own to define himself by, as well as a reason for Dean to forgive himself. As far as I can see, this is exactly what Dean needs.
