Feb. 14th, 2009 05:59 pmGot bored for a bit, so: How Dean spent his Valentine's Day... (uh,
DON'T ASK. SORRY IF IT TRAUMATIZES YOU. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ANYWAY.
In other news, BSG last night was frakking amazing, I can't even. I had so many things to say, but I don't even know where to begin and anyway I must go in a bit, so I guess I'll write all my thoughts into the parody as usual. :)) Also, I swear I will get pics from That Book scanned soon, for those of you who are waiting. (Sorry!) It's been a hectic couple of weeks.
Watched Dollhouse, too. Not as OMFGJFKD;ALFKSJ!!11! as a lot of you guys, but it was interesting and I will keep watching! Was Tahmoh's boxing scene in BSG that hot? 'Cause that was hot. And they wrote EJO into the script! ♥♥♥
At this point, though, I'm actually more interested in Fringe. Olivia and Peter and WALTER and the thickening plot..! This week's episode was so good. More of you need to watch it, srsly. *poke*
This post is so random. I suppose I ought to shower before I go out, huh.
Yes, happy Valentine's Day, all. ♥!

Date: 2009-02-14 11:05 pm (UTC)I tried watching Fringe but I gave up. Too much like X-Files for me. (I didn't like X-Files >_>)

Date: 2009-02-14 11:11 pm (UTC)Guess it wouldn't be your thing, then. I didn't watch X-Files religiously, but from what I can tell they have a lot of similarities.

Date: 2009-02-14 11:22 pm (UTC)I've not watched dollhouse yet, saving it for tomorrow night. I love Fringe, am missing it like mad, the last ep we got in the UK was hen Olivia as kidnapped, are you far past that?

Date: 2009-02-14 11:34 pm (UTC)Aww, that sucks, we are way past Olivia getting kidnapped! You can download all the eps a few hours after they air, actually, so you don't have to wait for it to hit the UK.
Also, I heard you bought

Date: 2009-02-14 11:42 pm (UTC)Yes, do so! To be honest I only watched it because my flist has been going crazy about it for months now, but it's a really interesting premise and all. :)

Date: 2009-02-14 11:56 pm (UTC)BSG was frakking amazing. Same as you, I'm can't even articulate properly how awesome it was, how much revelations we had and reveals and just GAH! SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS SHOW! :D Dollhouse was great, obviously not epic as compared to BSG (like anything could, tbh) but the potential is there and I'm liking what I'm seeing. WE NEEDS MOAR TAHMOH! ALL SHIRTLESS WITH THE BOXING, AND THEN WITH THE SUIT AND TIE AND GAHHHH! HOTNESS! Can't wait for him and Eliza together on my screen.

Date: 2009-02-15 12:00 am (UTC)This ought to add some real meat to your BSG meta post, I bet. XD I think my favourite Tahmoh moment was actually the scene in the bathroom, actually, telling that dude to wash his hands and shoes, hahahha oh man, it's gonna be so good seeing him be.. not as soft as Helo. :))
Hmm, I will have to go investigate why everyone loves Eliza so much, I haven't seen anything else of hers, I don't think.

\o/\o/ I am so happy you actually like this, seriously. ♥!!

Date: 2009-02-15 01:41 am (UTC)And: OMG, someone on my flist who watches Fringe! Clearly we are meant to be! (particularly if you've ever thought "You know what would be hot? Charlie and Peter making out" - but to be honest I'll take another Fringe fan anyway I get them right now)
I was totally ambivalent about it for ages and mainly watching because Josh Jackson (who I've seen on stage with Patrick Stewart) and Charlie are hot. And then, IDEK, Olivia suddenly became amazingly awesome and hiatus actually really sucked.
In conclusion: I also watch Fringe!

Date: 2009-02-15 04:45 pm (UTC)I was only watching for the mad scientist and twisty shit at first, but yes, Olivia totally grew on me, somehow.
In conclusion: I need to get in on this Charlie/Peter thing some more!

Date: 2009-02-15 03:26 pm (UTC)WHY A ZUCCHINI?!
And what even is a zucchini? Is it cucumber or courgette or something else entirely, I can never remember.....
Haven't see Dollhouse yet and I both want to and don't want to. Joss Whedon is easily my favourite showrunner in the whole world, but I live in fear that he (and his fans) have set the bar too high now.....
no subject
Date: 2009-02-15 04:56 pm (UTC)Zucchinis are sort of like cucumbers, yeah. Like, if a cucumber and a squash had a baby, it would be a zucchini. :|
Well, the premise is pretty interesting and it certainly has a lot of potential, but I see what you mean. Maybe try to go into it without any expectations?
