How do you fix that issue where you've friended someone but their entries won't show up on your flist even after you try defriending/refriending them? D:

Actually this was meant to be a happy fandom post, so onto the happy fandom things!

1. Azkatraz proposals! I've seen some talk of this on my flist (in the entries that DO show up, grrr, but I'm not bitter or anything, oh no) but still no mention of any panels/roundtables on RPing and RPGs. Apparently someone submitted a proposal to give a lecture on RPing, but it's just one person lecturing.. wouldn't it be more fun if it was a roundtable? wook77, we talked about this at Terminus, are you still interested? Is anyone else?

2. The hd_holidays reveals are up, obviously, turns out rosivan drew that adorable picture of Draco with earmuffs for me and sexts, yay! rosivan, if you happen to see this for some reason, thank you so much and Ilu! ♥♥♥ As for our fic, sexts and I wrote Before We Get Too Old for winnett. :)

3. Speaking of reveals, I just realized I never even posted about the piece I did for hd_fanart's Art Fest way back in October. *facepalm* It's here, and I still haven't replied to comments yet, god I fail so epically sometimes. >.<

4. lallipoo and I drew art on my tablet yesterday, hahahahahahahhahaha. hahahahahahha oh god oh god, there was Kara and Castiel and they were amazing pieces of art, really, hahahahahhaa oh god let me just kill myself now.

5. Everyone who wants to read it has already read it and squeed themselves into angelic oblivion, but I just have to say, this interview makes me especially, especially giddy because she says: Turns out it's really hard for angels to walk among humans and not get kinda... involved. and god, what does that sound like? it is impossible for an angel to walk among humans and not fall for one, yes, that was in a very slashy Dean/Castiel fic I wrote, so what does that imply about the amount of Dean/Castiel subtext we're going to get in coming episodes? jfkld;salkfsdj seriously, you guys, seriously. SERIOUSLY. fjkl;dsalfsdj Life is so good to me. I LOVE THIS SHIP. !!!! *draws hearts around it*

6. Back at school now. BSG DVDs were waiting for me. Happy happy happy happy happy, wheeeeeeeeee! The Bear McCreary documentary looks absolutely hilarious from the few YT clips I've seen, so I can't wait to watch the whole thing, omg, along with all the other special features. *_*!

7. Almost everyone who's reading this is a slasher, so I'd just like to point you over to ze_pink_lady's surveys for slashers that she's conducting for a research project. It would be lovely if you'd all go help her out! ♥

Ok. Ok. Ok. So not on topic (well, not fully) but I had to share and you are first and foremost my "go to gal" for SPN-sharing!!! BECAUSE ILUSM AND YOU ROCK MY FACE OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

I was rewatching Heaven and Hell tonight on the CW. And do you know how Dean defined angels to Anna? He said they were "PERFECT!" OMGZ! I mean, he's having is little, unguarded heart to heart with angelskank and he says that. And he's only, really dealt with one (ONE!) angel. Uriel doesn't count 'cause he's filtered by Cas... Cas is his only one on one (on top... of the Impala... with the candlestick?.... Kinkiest game of Clue ever!... but I digress). Anyways, so Cas is "perfect". And awesome and makes Dean totally not understand why Anna doesn't want to be an angel anymore. Seriously. He doesn't sort of want to be one until she explains the suckery of not feeling... but before that, he couldn't get why she wouldn't like it, and it's almost envious/awe. So, Cas truly IS AWESOME and Dean RECOGNIZES IT!!!!!!!

Also, that interview is kick ass because it COMPLETELY NEGATES Anna's FUCKTARDERY!!! Sera SAID SO!!!! :P Angels FEEL. Anna is a b00b!

Plus, In his relationship with Dean... Castiel genuinely likes Dean. I mean, sure, Uriel says so himself, but... RELATIONSHIP WITH DEAN!!! I know, I know, there are several types of relationships... but that he has any type and it includes likage, YAY!!!!!

There was something else.... um... OH! Dean's face when he's questioning her about the "feeling" thing, as he seems thoroughly convinced they can thanks to Castiel and he wants to know more of the particulars when she says they can't (worried much?). That and the "junkless" comment, seems like Dean was fishing... teehee... "do you REALLY have sexy fun parts so I can sex up my hot angel? Yes? SCORE!"

AND, ANNA seems CALCULATING when she kisses Dean. I never noticed it before, but Dean and Cas are sort of having a moment (with the canon!eye sex) and her eyes sort of flicker to Cas, she seems to make up her mind, and THEN she leans up and kisses Dean. SHE KNOWS CAS IS WATCHING AND DOES IT ON PURPOSE!!! And if she claims angel's can't normally feel, then she's gotta know he ain't watching her because they don't have any history of that sort (thank god). So his mushy, chick flick feelings are because of Dean and Anna sees it and flaunts it. She is a skank of EPIC PROPORTIONS, but she makes legitimizing my slash SO much easier.

Also, what's a slasher? I know not of which you speak... ^_~

I just went back and rewatched those bits and paid special attention to the way Dean says "powerful and perfect", and yesyesyes it totally IS something akin to hero-worship and awe. Though I've never been able to understand how he can say "you don't doubt yourselves... or anything" after their bench conversation. :( I don't want to think it's because he didn't believe Castiel, so maybe it's because Castiel's perfection is so deeply ingrained in Dean's mind that it sort of.. takes over? That would have to be a pretty overpowering thought, there. XD

Ahahhah omgyes, I squealed so hard at the word "relationship". God, god, god, I cannot wait to see that ep that opens from Castiel's POV, see exactly how much he genuinely likes Dean. !!

Oh man, I never really watched this Dean/Anna conversation closely or that many times because she disgusted me, but now that I am and you've given me things to look for, I'm noticing all sorts of little things. Like how troubled Dean looks at the revelation that only four angels have seen God and the rest have to take it on faith or be killed -- I dunno, but it looks a lot to me like he's a little sympathetic and worried for Cas, there. XD In fact, all of his expressions throughout that whole conversation make a lot of sense in the context of thinking about Castiel.

You're right, she looks at Castiel and has this moment of contemplation, like, oh, I know what I can do to spite him and then the way she puts her hand on Dean's arm. So show-off-y! What a skank, but the more I talk to you, the more I come to appreciate what she brings out in our boys, yes. Our boy/angel. heh. :D

See this, is why the parts I hated can be salvaged. Jensen tries to inject as much complexity and logic into his scenes as possible, and he makes the idea of having to watch this episode again in its entirety bearable. Mostly.

You know what, no matter how you look at it, it was very manipulative. Even if you want to say she had that kind of history with Castiel, it makes her look like a liar, because why do that if she weren't expecting some sort of reaction or emotion? And just the fact that people think she and Castiel had something going on makes her a liar. I have no problem with her wanting to leave Heaven but her claiming they can't feel because the other angel's don't share her experience of Heaven makes me really dislike her.

I AM MORE EXCITED THAN EVER BEFORE!!!

I've been re-watching to get back in the mood and OMG the Castiel character progression and the devloping Dean/Castiel subtext (and blatant eye!sex) is really knock me out awesome. And watching it even without my tinhat and slash goggles it's not hard to see the connection and the little hints, the tongue thing in 'It's the Great Pumpkin', the eye!sex, the way Dean talks about angels in H&H, the eye!sex, the way Castiel looked at Dean and the way Anna used Dean to get at Castiel in H&H (wut? she totally did!), the eye!sex, the handprint moment in H&H and the hand on shoulder moment in ITB.....

I love this pairing SO MUCH.

Also? Remember talking about how much of Fandom gets the Dean/Castiel thing? I've come to the conclusion that everyone see's the slashy subtext, they just lack the capacity to interpret it for what it really is! It's like, they all spotted that look when Anna kissed Dean, and they're all confuzzled over the angels-dont-feel-but-apparently-they-do thing, and they wonder why Castiel and Dean always focus on each other in their scenes and why Castiel talks to Dean more than Sam, and people keep asking these questions on the forums and I just want to say 'IT'S BECAUSE THEY WANT TO MAKE WITH THE HOT SEXIN' THAT IS WHY THEY TALK TO EACH OTHER AND FOCUS ON EACH OTHER IN SCENES EVEN IF SAM AND URIEL ARE THERE AND WITH THE LOOKS THEY CALL IT EYE!SEXIN' AND HOMG WHY DO YOU NOT SEE THIS WHEN EVEN IN INTERVIEWS THEY TALK ABOUT THEIR 'RELATIONSHIP' AND GETTING '...INVOLVED' WITH THE HUMAN RACE IT IS PRACTICALLY CANON!!!'

Oh god, you don't even know how many times I've watched all the Castiel scenes over and over and over again. I don't even know how many times, but it was a lot of times. *_* What I haven't seen many times are the scenes with Anna, but now that I've gone back to rewatch those, it almost feels like Castiel's presence is just hanging over them, constantly, which is pretty amazing.

I agree! Even my nonslashy, straight, RL guy friend sees the intensity between them and has pointed it out more than once. But I also think a lot of people (hardcore Wincesters, for example, and people who are plain homophobic) see the subtext but refuse to acknowledge it. That seems more prevalent in fandom (where everyone knows about slash, at least) than cluelessness, to me. But, whatever, who needs 'em, right? The rest of us who see the futility of denial can enjoy our practically-canon ship. XD

Just reading that interview, with the points on Castiel particularly, makes me squee with such giddiness. The fact that Sera Gamble addresses that she doesn't believe angels are emotionless robotic followers and there will be difficulties just makes me love that she has this opinion and what happened in "Heaven and Hell" with Anna's statement of angels not having emotions kind of moot. I mean, surely things that happen in the show are canon but I definitely take the writer's statements such as this into much consideration for their viewpoints on the storylines.

I'm also overly giddy about Sera praising Misha and giving a lot of positive comments about Castiel. It's such a wonderful thing to read, and I just can't wait for the second half of the season to start up again knowing we'll be getting more of him. And him and Dean, because he "genuinely likes Dean", thus adding fuel to the flames of the fangirls. ;D

And a Castiel-centric episode? OMGYESPLZ! I like taking another perspective of the show than just from the Winchesters, and honestly, this is soooo becoming like a BSG-esque thing. Remember "Downloaded" from the Cylons' POV, with Caprica-Six and her questioning much like Castiel is about their entire mission and such? SEE WHAT I SAID ABOUT ANGELS AND CYLONS!!! THIS TOTES IS KINDA AWESOME IN AN EPIC SORTA WAY, AMIRITE? AND SIX/CASTIEL BEING MAH CRACKALICIOUS OTP?!? OMG! :D :D :D

Of course...BSG! I still can't believe that both SPN and BSG return next week. NEXT FRAKKING WEEK! I think I might faint.

Sera Gamble is such a Dean/Castiel shipper, that's basically what I've gleaned from the interview. XD I share your sentiments about taking writer intent into consideration when interpreting canon, but I wish she had somehow addressed those Anna lines in particular. I guess she probably wasn't the one who wrote that episode, though I haven't looked it up.

Heee, yes, my heart did this little so-proud-of-Misha flip when I read that! This role really brings out the best in Misha's acting, I think, he does so little but expresses so much.

You know, when I read it I took "opens in Castiel's POV" to mean that only the first scene of the episode would be from Castiel's POV, but everyone else seems to think that will continue for the whole episode? I certainly hope so, but I wouldn't want to be disappointed if it turns out to be just a few minutes.

Ahhh, omg, I hadn't thought of that but YES, omg, regardless of what happens in that episode I WILL EXPECT YOU TO WRITE SIX/CASTIEL BASED ON THE PARALLELS. Because there WILL be parallels, I'm as sure of it as Castiel is sure of God.

Oh my god next week, oh my god I may squee about it endlessly but in reality my brain is completely and utterly unable to actually process it. Guh.
