GODDAMN, Dean/Castiel fandom. Goddamn. I just want to glomp the whole fandom, you guys knock me on my ass time and again and keep me pinned for days on end. I have so much love. SO MUCH. !! ♥♥♥ Unprecedentedly epic comment party at the Dean/Castiel manifesto was unprecedentedly epic, and it's still not over! This thread started by

raphaellover last night got emotions running especially high, and I thought about copying it into a separate post to share with everyone, but I'm just going to link to it instead. God wants you to strap on your party hat and come play with us! ;)

Anyway, onto the point of this post:

leveldevil suggested I put the manifesto up on

ship_manifesto and add some recs for newcomers, which I thought was an awesome idea. But this is where you guys come in. I haven't read nearly enough of the fics out there to make sure I've got a fair representation of the best ones, so tell me which fics you would consider must-reads as an intro into this fandom! I will make every effort to read them all and pick a handful to add to the manifesto. Not just fics, either -- give me your vid, mix, art, and meta recs too!

ETA: I've compiled a working list of all the links you guys gave me (though if you linked me to your mems/delicious and there were over 50 fics or something, I kind of picked and chose >.>), with a few of my own favorites thrown in.
