1. I signed up for hd_fanart's Art Fest. No idea what I was thinking, I don't really know how to draw omg? this sudden surge of fandomy love is getting to me. But it's too early to panic, right?

2. I'm also an editor at galacticanews now. lol. it's actually quite fun.

3. You know what's funny? When boys in China use the "your English is pretty good" line on me. It makes me want to say, "thanks, and as a matter of fact it's probably better than yours..." but I never did.

4. This (VERY SPOILERY) Katee Sackhoff interview broke me a little, I think. Lee is going to die, and his bullet is going to go on Kara's necklace o' death, I just know it. But I don't know if I'll be able to stand it. Just picturing Jamie Bamber doing that scene is enough to make me shaky. It's just the sort of ending for Starbuck/Apollo that the cast would consider "fitting", though, no? jfklds;alfksjd :( :( :( I suppose it could be Sam, but I don't want him to die either because I love Sam too. :( :( :(

5. Apparently the fleet leaves Earth and Three stays there? seriously? I don't know what to make of that. What do you make of that?

Yeah, I always thought that too, but Kara doesn't die, and if Lee doesn't die either, there can be no real conclusion to them, you know? I am so scared for him, but there may be hope yet, I think.

okay, the kara/lee thing does seem really fitting. that would be really perfect for them in a way...except, honestly? I'd rather have it be the other way around. I guess the options are either Lee dies or Sam dies and then Kara dies with his bullet on her necklace at the very end. Both are pretty morbid options. I'm also sort of leaning towards preferring Kara's death, but losing her again might break Lee. :(

I don't even know where that Earth thing came from and why, if it's true, it isn't already all over the internet. If it does happen, though, I kind of hope Three fixes things and they get to go back in the end.

So, I'm trying to go spoiler-light, but I broke down and read Katee's interview because people are already writing fic about it. Wow. My first thought was that all three of Kara's lovers will be dead by the end, to make it a true 'necklace of death.' :/ This is the first time I've ever considered that they might kill Lee. And I still have a hard time believing it. So maybe it's just Sam. :sob: At least I have Michael Trucco's "epic and awesome" promise about Sam's fate to console me that it won't just be Kara going "actually, I changed my mind again and now I will put a bullet between your eyes. Then I will dig the bullet out from between your eyes, and wear it 'round my neck to remember you fondly.' ;)

And I'm still worried about Kara, from other things Katee has said. That "her ending can be interpreted in many different ways by many different people" - like, how can that be if she survives? And even in this one, "in my opinion, she's not alone?" That makes me think she dies, but it's ambiguous enough that we think she may go on in some Aurora-y sense. Of course, it might just be alluding to an ambiguously shippy ending, where Kara and Lee don't walk off into the sunset together, but we get the sense they might get there eventually. Or to her and Adama having to take care of each other even though Lee, Laura, and everyone they've loved is dead, as someone else suggested. Which would be KILL us, but maybe that's the point! Bastards. ;)

Wow, I guess that would certainly be a fitting conclusion for their little triangle, huh. But Katee didn't mention wearing someone else's dog tag, just her own and Zac's ring and the bullet. I have a hard time believing they'd kill Lee too, if only because they've set him up to be Laura's successor, but Jamie keeps saying it's a very emotional but fitting ending and he also said somewhere that he loves playing death scenes. :|

You know, that bit about Kara shooting him between the eyes and then wearing the bullet sounds ridiculous and sarcastic, but it's almost exactly the sort of thing she would do. -.- And wouldn't that be gloriously (and Moore-ishly) dramatic? I hope it doesn't come to that, though, for Sam's sake. *clings to him* Was this "epic and awesome" promise about Sam's fate in the panel? I still haven't finished watching it yet, gah.

Well, if she survives obviously people will have loads of different interpretations about what she'll do with the rest of her life. But I also sort of think she'll die, because she doesn't get the peace that Katee wanted but it's also a fitting ending. I don't quite think Kara can be peaceful while she's alive. :|

I don't think they're out to kill us (at least, that's what I keep telling myself). Sure, they're famous for their punches in the gut, but it's supposed to be a sensational ending, not a hideously morbid one.

I think it was the way she phrased it, because she mentioned that the ring was Zak's and she had given a dogtag to Sam, so it sounded to me like both of them were represented by these symbols, and the bullet represented some third person, and they were all dead. Maybe it's Leoben? Or Baltar! She's slept with Baltar! ;)

Katee might also be trying to mislead us a little, since she went out of her way to mention this as "something she could say," maybe it has a not-obvious significance. :hopes:

If they have to kill one of them, I'd rather it be Lee, only because they've played Kara accepting death before and I feel like living on would be a greater challenge for her, whereas for Lee, it's just more of the same and downright cruel. And Lee's death would really hit hard, since he's talked up as being "the future," whereas Kara, Laura, Sam, ect., are all more-or-less expected to die. But in my ideal world, they'd all live and get a glimmer of hope at the end, because I think they deserve it at this point!

Yes, all the actors were asked if they feel their characters got closure, and Trucco said that "something epic" happens to Sam, and that it's awesome, but he couldn't say anything about it. And I remember Michael Angeli mentioned Sam as a character who was just brought in for several episodes, and ended up being instrumental in determining the end of the show. Which makes me both incredibly exited and non-optimistic about his survival. Eeeep!

*sticks fingers in ears* lalalala I can't heeeear you Kara can't shoot him now the moment passed! ;p Heh - I agree it is the kind of thing she'd do, but I feel like they already played that, and then the writers made such a huge deal about how she ultimately didn't react the way she thought she would (ie by shooting him) that I don't think they'll go back on that. I could be overly optimistic here!
