I kind of hold with the theory that Castiel was a no-name angel, nobody knew who he was until he pulled Dean from hell and everyone was like wtf who? And then they were like OH THAT GUY, THE ONE THAT REBELLED, and then they were like \o/ REBELLING IS AWESOME, but basically it wasn't until Castiel flew the coop that everyone knew who he was and he was on Heaven's Most Wanted list for a really long time, or something. I DUNNO.

I still can't get over the fact that SOMETHING seems seriously wrong with Sam... I still swear he's Lucifer, or some Sam/Lucifer hybrid. There's no way he's pure Sam. The way they're playing him almost is starting to remind me of Lucifer in I, Lucifer... paying for hookers and being less caring/more snarky toward people. And the faces he pulls. IDK. Either Jared forgot how to play Sam, or Luci's still up there somewhere. I'm voting for the latter, even if I don't like Samifer.

LOVE Balthazar. I wasn't sure at first because he (like Crowley) seems like a Gabe replacement, but I like him... he grew on me quick <3

I HATE RAPHAEL! And I hate what they're doing with this damn storyline!! It's like they realized the Apocalypse was insanely lame and then instead of giving LUCIFER his rightful position as the civil war starter and usurper of heaven's throne, they just hand it to Raphael. Come ON people! It should be Nick!Lucifer out there gathering the rogue angel army... not that putz. I hate jacked up mythology, and I hate that they made Lucifer into this big non-threat. The only thing I can see happening is if Sam IS Lucifer, he and Grandpa Campbell are amassing a demon army and they're going to have a three way war for heaven with Castiel's side and Raphael's side. But even still, it's still Samifer and DO NOT WANT. Want Mark Pellegrino back like, yesterday :P

But yeah, this was more like it I guess. Cas coming back helped, and Balthazar is awesome. I'm just not as into the show this year as I was previously :/

I don't think Lucifer is still in there, but I do think he and the experience in Hell changed Sam a lot more than he's letting on. Dean may have angsted more about the shit he did in Hell, but I think Sam brought more of it back with him. Also, hanging out with those creepy Campbells all year can't have helped.

I mostly just like Balthazar because he's Castiel's friend!

Oh god yes I want Mark Pellegrino back too, but sadly I guess it won't happen. D: As for the storyline... eh, I'm actually not all that invested in it anymore, I guess in part because I have no idea where they want to take it yet. So I'm just waiting to see, but I'm not really expecting much.

Actually I'm not quite as into the show this year as I was previously either, but Castiel coming back will always make me remember how much I love it, I'm sure.
