Question about the Paypal account- is it set up as a personal/gift account? (i.e, does all the money go to the charity and not to Paypal fees?) If so, I'd prefer to donate through there, if not then I'll go the card route.

Hi there, and thanks for asking! There are two ways to donate through PayPal, and the fee-less one is a bit more complicated.

1. Donate button on our website. These donations WILL incur fees of 2.2% + $0.30 (from within the US)

2. Log into PayPal and click "send money", enter our address (treasurer@therandomact.org), choose "personal", and send us the money from your existing PayPal balance. These donations WILL NOT incur fees as long as you're in the US.

If you aren't in the US, there is an additional 1% cross-border fee regardless of which option you choose.

Let me know if anything doesn't make sense and thanks for your support!

come to think of it, we were not, and still have not been told what Jimmy did for a living ... his outfit (or Cas') is not unlike something a politician would wear ...I think Misha would have been the sexiest (or most bizarre) mayor/governor/president ever in the USA...
