Don't you enjoy how I put off making LJ posts for days and days and then rudely cram everything into one post like Dean crams candy into his mouth? Except worse, because they're about as related as Twizzlers are to caramel. Anyway.

1. someblazingstar made me like Wincest. No, seriously. It's the Sam/Dean/Castiel fic she wrote for me for help_haiti, and it is fucking glorious. With glorious fucking. fjdklsfjklsdfjs


2. This comment fic is also amazing.


3. SHAUN WHITE IS MY HERO. End of story.


4. Snowboarding alone is the easiest way to meet (non-sleazy) guys ever. Srsly. So many guys for the picking out on those slopes.


5. I have been gazing at my navel lately, please excuse the self-indulgence. The thing is, I like to think I'm a passably versatile person, and this extends to fic writing as well. I don't want to be writing the same thing over and over again, because that would be boring, right?
   
   So I've written happy fic, angsty fic, dark fic, mind!fuck fic, whumpy fic, cracky fic, porny fic, cracky and porny fic, romantic fic, gen fic, long fic, short fic, Chuck fic, AU-ish fic, dialogue only, fic from different POVs, second and third person fics, past, present, and future tense fics, etc. Shit, I even wrote a fic ass-backwards. There is one more fic I've got planned which involves Castiel developing a brain tumor and dealing with that while he slowly loses his angel mojo, and I think that will be pretty different, but what do I write after that that's different and/or challenging?
   
   (Yes, this is a shameless call for ideas/prompts.)


6. Obviously everyone is welcome to comment here with stuff you think you'd like to see me try my hand at, but if you feel inclined to give a little to Haiti while you're at it, you can leave your prompt on my thread at pledge_a_thon too. Or you can even sponsor my brain tumor fic, if it sounds interesting at all! (Like how I snuck that in there?)


7. Despite loving the shit out of someblazingstar's fic, I am not quite ready to venture outside of Dean/Castiel fandom. Anyone willing to help me pimp pledge_a_thon to the Wincest/J2 comms? Please? It's open to all of Supernatural fandom, and it's for a good cause!


8. Last night's White Collar was amazing, especially with bonus CHARLES MALIK WHITFIELD AKA HENRICKSEN who I met last year and who wrote "love" three times when he gave me his autograph. ♥

Ooh, have you ever written a crossover? You should try it; it's fun. There's always an excuse, no matter what two fandoms you're trying to cross.

Other than, just keep writing Castiel interacting with Dean and Sam and being all confused by their silly human ways, because that's always good. Like, I dunno, he doesn't really get the appeal of reality TV. Or fuzzy dice. Or caramel sauce. Or why fools must fall in love. Or hopscotch. Or napping. ::shrug::

5. AU-ish fic

I dunno, maybe an all-the-way AU fic? There were so many prompts from that deancastiel AU/Fusion challenge that were never answered; some of them could be fun to write!

Or idk, genderbending? I know, I know, that's often icky, but THAT WOULD BE THE CHALLENGE. I BET YOU COULD MAKE IT GOOD.

6. I am ridiculously confused about pledge_a_thon. Are we allowed to sponsor someone for a different fic if they already have a prompt? I want to sponsor people, but I don't want to overwhelm anyone. Maybe I'll just add my sponsorship to something someone has already prompted.

See, I have trouble with AU type fics, I've found. When I'm writing canon stuff, I feel like I have a solid enough grasp on the characters, but when I'm writing them in an AU setting, I lose that and flounder and they don't feel like the characters I know and it VEXES ME. So I don't think I'll be doing AU again anytime soon. :|

LOL BUT I DISLIKE GENDERBENDING. :(

They can get as many prompts as people are willing to give them and then they pick whichever one(s) they want to write and let those sponsors know. So prompt away!

LOL I wouldn't go so far as to say I like Wincest in general, and definitely not so far as to be able to write it. Although that is a heart-twisty sort of prompt and I love those.
