I've never been soo grossed out watching a spn eppy! I loved it \o/

I don't like Cas being referred to as a "guard dog" and I kept getting 2014 Cas flashbacks. Especially, when he smiled and Dean rolled his eyes at him.

I have to admit I was a little put off on those scenes, but you made them better and now I can love them!

Dean and Cas are just soo...addictive. I love watching their scenes and your reviews are made of win \o/

Now, I just want to go back and read your review over and over again. This is going to be a long six weeks :(

So, I watched it. Then I had to watch it again to make myself sure. And then I realized. Dean has Cas on speed dial. SPEED DIAL. CAS. DEAN JUST HAS TO PRESS ONE NUMBER TO GET TO HIS CAS. This makes me so undenaibly happy that I think I will implode!

It is also my belief that Kripke is actually holding off on the hug because he KNOWS, KNOWS how much it's killing us. And then he'll give it to us so randomly that we will all implode from squee. It will be both terrifying and amazing.

Sam. Oh, Sammy. You hurt me. So much. And your horrible addiction: I knew when they said it was Famine what Sam would crave. And I actually think that Jimmy isn't there anymore, but that his mindset is still something that Castiel has in the back of his conscious. He was with Jimmy for a long time (well, somewhat); there's no doubt that their minds were probably so intertwined that regardless of Jimmy's absence, Castiel won't let go of Jimmy's ideals.

But this is all speculation, and sick induced speculation, so I may totally be out to lunch on this.

HOWEVER. I know Kripke enjoys keeping us happy. So, we'll probably gather more Dean/Cas moments until we are all convulsing. And regardless of this...thing...known as a Hiatus, we will SURVIVE. Because speculation is what we can do. And if we can't get our damned hug in canon, we will MAKE it fanon.

What I want to know is why the demons don't hunger for anything. Even angels do, so why not demons? Or is it because Cas is becoming too human?

Maybe Famine doesn't affect demons on purpose? I mean, would be pretty inconvenient for him if his guards left him to eat and have sex. IDK rly. Good point though, I didn't notice that. *Thinks*

The phone call= BEST EVER... I think it may beat "This isn't funny, Dean, the voice says I'm almost out of minutes!".

...And the ending of the ep. Oh my heart. Why must the show continue to be so cruel to Dean? Seriously, what more can they do to him?

I agree on the Jimmy front. I've been saying he's dead since the start of the season... Then they say the hunger is 'cause of Jimmy... Made me wonder for a second, but it's entirely possible that it was just the body, and Jimmy doesn't have to be in there for the hunger to effect it.

I kinda wish that Cas had been hit with the hunger for love, rather than food... But all things considered, he would have ended up killing somebody-...possibly Dean... we could HOPE that's who his hunger was directed at...- because there would have been no way to stop him from doing... whatever... to his chosen partner...

This episode ended up being a bit more serious than I thought it would be, but I think I prefer it that way.

...Now I have 6 weeks to finish my fic, and get it posted before canon comes back, and fucks with my ability to write something happy...'Cause I don't think we're getting anymore light episodes this season, and dark!show equals dark!fic...

For fic purposes, I'm totally sticking with the "Jimmy is gone" theory.

That would've been a little creepy if Cas had gone all manic on Dean. D: I wouldn't want that to get in the way of their relationship. 'Sides, Cas already slams Dean against walls and such!

Well, maybe there will be a few light episodes to come because I don't think they can do straight dark for the next eight episodes, but they'll probably be more sparse, yes.
