Got home late last night after a ten hour drive and didn't do much more aside from passing out. Trying to sort through my inbox now, so a few points..

1. To everyone who's sent me messages about seeing my locked posts: The lockdown thing was a knee-jerk (over)reaction, so I will go through and unlock everything that was previously unlocked, but it'll take some time since there's no handy "undo" button and I don't want to mass unlock everything since some posts were always meant to be locked. Give me a few days, though, I really really really need to spend some time catching up on RL things first (cover letter writing, job applications, lab work, etc.) since I've been neglecting them all weekend in favor of being on the highest con high in the world.

2. For those of you who specifically mentioned the rec list, check out Delicious in the meantime.

3. I usually have Epic Guilt over not replying to comments, but I think I'm going to have to skimp on most of the ones from this weekend since not enough time is not enough time. Sorry, and thank you, I read every single one and it makes me incredibly ♥♥♥ and *_* that so many people were so happy for me (jealousy notwithstanding *g*), awww, Ilu all a lot. Fandom is an amazing place to be.

4. Not inbox-sorting-related, but does anyone have AAA auto insurance? I ask because I got a speeding ticket on the way to Chicago and I really want to know what my parents will see on the insurance report. Will it tell them I was going 90mph in a 65mph zone? Or will it give a range like 80-90mph or 90-100mph (*wince*) or 20-30mph over or what? If it gives a range, does anyone know what the exact ranges are? Basically, I just want to know if my parents will find out I was going 90mph, sigh, why is auto insurance the one thing they're still covering for me? /o\ ETA: Does anyone in Ohio know how likely they'll be to let me off the hook if I go to court with a clean record..?

in WA state there is this thing where you pay like $90 for court fees & then promise that you'll not do that again for 7 years, & then it goes off your record. but if you do have another infraction, then you pay the new one, the old ticket, too, AND they both go on your record. for me, that was not a good option, so I just sucked it up. good luck!

Oh, really? Dude. I'll have to look into Ohio laws, then.. This is my first ticket in nearly three years and the first two were supposed to have been wiped off my record last year so maybe this is an option..! Thanks for the tip!

Ouch, not a good ticket to get... I'm sure all the quality time with Misha this weekend made up for it though :) Sadly, I have Allstate so I couldn't tell you what AAA will do... I DO know they're known for being one of the most expensive car insurances though, so :/ I've never gotten a ticket in my life, so I count myself lucky.

I think Misha should totally harass Jared about his poor spelling job... also, having Misha sign as Castiel was brilliant <3

I am SO jealous of that banner! Having Dean and Castiel in my room THAT large? I'd probably never sleep! LOL

Welcome back. You must feel a little like a celebrity right now in SPN fandom. It's like the con was a little Supernatural reality show and you somehow won the show. With, as in all reality shows, huge doses of discomfort/embarrassment/squee too. And I know this was never something you would want to go through but you have so much love and devotion to Cas and have shared so much with everyone through your pics and posts, that really, if anyone deserves to be going on milkshakes dates with Cas/Misha, it's you. (minus the uncomfortable part of course) Hugs and sorry about the speeding ticket.
