Number four, Privet Drive. There was nothing good about this place: Dursleys, prejudices, dark cupboards, and normalcy.

But as Harry stood behind that tree and watched his Uncle Vernon mow the lawn while Aunt Petunia was no doubt inside with what she considered her distaff chores, it occurred to him that maybe normalcy was underrated.

Maybe Harry wanted a lawn to mow and a house and a family and conjugal bliss. This fighting evil thing, though exciting and undeniably rewarding, was starting to get old after fifteen years. And maybe he'd never be able to have consanguine children on account of his sexual preferences, but a family really wasn't too much to ask for, was it?

He thought of Draco, scion of one of the last great wizarding bloodlines and unbreakable in his sense of filial duty. Would he really turn against his progenitors for Harry?

Sometimes Harry thought Draco would sooner commit fratricide than marry a muggleborn, much less another man with whom he'd never be able to produce an heir. Purebloods were all about endogamy, after all.

But other times in the quiet moments of pre-dawn, Draco would look at and touch and smile at Harry in a way that made him think, forever.

Harry shook the thoughts from his head and stepped out from behind the tree. He had come to see what family he had for the first time since he was a child and see them he would.

On a completely different and somewhat TMI note, that boy and I had this long discussion about female masturbation yesterday. or rather, how often it actually happens. He thinks the average is once every 2 or 3 weeks and I think it's a bit more than that.. So, a poll?

My answer doesn't fit into your poll, so I'll just put it here. It really depends on how much work/stress I have going on in my life. When in university and under lots of stress to do several things at once (jobs, papers due, tests all in the same month), I wait for about 2 weeks (because I literally don't have time to do it) until I need a real release and then will have a session of two. I've had non-stressful summers in which the answer was "every day, at least once, for multiple weeks."

Er...I put at least once a week cause that's about what it might be? It's more like I'll masturbate every 2-3 weeks, but during that one week, it'll be nearly every day. Then during the 'off weeks' it'd probably be once a week, if even. Off weeks depends on how bored I am. If I'm bored, I'll masturbate.

Being in university and all, I definitely know what you mean! I've never consciously correlated how often I do it with my workload/stress, but I definitely have dry spells during times when I just constantly feel tired, whether it's from workload or something else.

Yeah, that's pretty much me to a tee as well. Off weeks happen a lot when I have too much stuff to do and I'm constantly tired, but then I get a break and it'll be pretty much every day.

I'm tentatively planning on taking them in September. maybe August if I feel like I'm ready then and want to get it out of the way before school starts, or maybe October if I slack on the studying. :P

But, uh, yeah, you should probably start looking into it when you get back from France, though plenty of people just study for a month or so and do fine. I'm just analish because my GPA isn't necessarily so great.

Crap. One more thing to add to the endless list of things to do when I get back from France. How do you even find out where/how/when to take them? I am so in the dark. All I know is what my friend told me (who is now in grad school) that half the words they have you learn don't end up being on the test anyways.

I bought the Kaplan GRE guide book (that's not the actual title, but if you go to the bookstore it should be in the test prep section) and that will give you a rough timeline. I heard first from friends/professors, though. Of course most of the words you learn won't be on it because there's just too many, but I'd do miserably if I didn't study. :|
